About Us
The Kalmyk Buddhist Culture Organization (KBCO) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Buddhist teachings, Kalmyk cultural heritage, and community wellbeing. Our organization brings together individuals and families who share an interest in Buddhist practice, cultural preservation, education, and compassionate service.
We work to maintain a strong connection to the traditions, language, values, and spiritual heritage of the Kalmyk people, while also creating opportunities for intercultural understanding and community engagement. Through Buddhist educational programs, cultural events, arts and humanities activities, wellness initiatives, and humanitarian support, we strive to serve both our local community and the broader Kalmyk diaspora.
Guided by the Buddhist values of compassion, non-violence, and respect for all living beings, we aim to create a welcoming and inclusive space where traditions can be preserved, shared, and passed on to future generations.
